By using a different
editorial format for our news, they became completely different
from those published in the Romanian on-line press. This transforms
the news in a veritable instrument of working for the persons interested
in the subject.
Our articles are compound of:
- the title of the news;
- the news in short;
- the proper news;
- links to the sources of the article;
- supplementary information regarding the subject;
- links to the articles previously published on the subject;
- links to other extern sources of information concerning with the
subject.
The press review of www.europeana.ro
is unique not only by the quantity of the every day indexed news
but also by the manner this pieces of news are structured. We daily
post the news of European interest appeared in the on-line publications
and we group them according to the subject.
The site visitors have
the possibility to access the press review archive where they will
find all the pages published before in this rubric. A major advantage
of this archive is that they can fallow the thread of a subject
in its chronological development.
The news in short are
the third pillar of the news rubric. They usually cover the novelties
in the European field, novelties that does not appear in other Romanian
on-line source the day we publish them.
From January 2005 we
launched the site’s daily informational bulletin which has
a major success among our visitors. 3000 of them were subscribed
to our newsletter in March 2006. The bulletin presents a selection
of the most important news from the press review and also the summary
of our own articles.
Besides of the news we
